I am having a little fun with quillies and have done an entire border in them. I was a time consuming project, but results are well worth the time. I also used a twisted wool finish on this rug. Will post more photos in the days to come.

I take a gander at a little cap this way, I lift up the cloak, and I attempt to envision the face underneath it. When you purchase a bit of vintage garments you're not simply purchasing the texture and string - you're purchasing a bit of somebody's past.
